Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- apple cider vinegar - 1/4 c
- can sliced beets - 1 oz
- juice from beets - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Blend cornstarch and sugar in saucepan. Add vinegar and beet juice and cook on moderate heat until it begins to thicken, stirring constantly. Add beets to sauce while shaking pan gently to prevent sticking. Yields 3 servings.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
