Gumdrop cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• coconut - 1 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• uncooked oatmeal - 2 c
• cut up gumdrops - 1 c

How to make gumdrop cookies:

Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients. Beat. Add oatmeal, coconut and gumdrops. Roll in small balls. Press with fork on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
