Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- chopped ripe olives optional - 1 c
How to make ground beef casserole:
Saute ground beef with next four ingredients in skillet until crumbly. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour into 2-quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 325° for one hour. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
