Barbecue burgers
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder
- ketchup - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- cracker or bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- chopped medium onion - 1/3 c
- onion slices optional - 8 item
- Form patties
How to make barbecue burgers:
Combine above ingredients. Form patties. Spray pan with Pam and place patties in pan. Put a slice of onion on each patty. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, uncovered.Sauce:1/2 c. or 1 stick margarine1/2 c. chopped onion1/2 c. ketchup1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar1 1/2 tsp. chili powder3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. black pepper dash of Tabasco sauce Melt butter and saute onion. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over hamburgers after they have cooked 35 minutes. Cover and cook another 45 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Ground beef.
