Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 4 tsp
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- chopped pecans - 2/3 c
- nutmeg
- flaked coconut - 2/3 c
- chopped dates - 1/3 c
- chopped walnuts - 2/3 c
- raisins - 1/3 c
- dark corn syrup - 1/4 c
- honey - 2/3 c
- peanut oil - 1/2 c
- slivered almonds - 2/3 c
- Bran Flakes - 2 c
- rolled nuts - 6 c
- Wheat Bran - 1/2 c
How to make granola:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all dry ingredients, except raisins and dates. In saucepan, bring honey, oil, vanilla and corn syrup to a boil. Mix hot liquid into dry ingredients. Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Add raisins and dates. Cool. Store in airtight container.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Grains, Granola and porridge.
