Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- raisins - 1/4 c
- rolled oats - 2 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- oat bran - 1/4 c
- apple juice - 1/4 c
- freshly grated nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pitted dates - 1/4 c
- rye flakes - 1/4 c
- soy flakes - 2 Tbsp
How to make granola:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients except raisins and dates. Toss well to coat evenly with apple juice. Spread on nonstick baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, stirring every 30 minutes for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. After granola is cooled, remove from baking sheet and add dates and raisins.
