Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- sesame seed - 1/2 c
- sunflower seeds - 1/2 c
- wheat germ - 2 c
- oil peanut - 1 c
- oats regular or instant - 1 lb
- raisins, figs or other dried fruit optional - 1 item
How to make granola:
Mix all ingredients except fruits together with hands and get all lumps out of brown sugar. Bake in roasting pan at 325° until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. Cool. Add raisins, chopped figs or other dried fruits, if desired. Keep in plastic bags or cannister in refrigerator or freezer.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Grains, Granola and porridge.
