Grandma's carrot cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- carrots, grated - 3 c
How to make grandma's carrot cake:
Combine the eggs, oil and sugar. Mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and continue beating until well blended. When batter is smooth, stir in the grated carrots. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes.
