Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- celery - 1 c
- chopped bell pepper - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- can Shoe Peg corn, drained - 1 item
- can chopped pimentos - 1 item
- small can English peas, drained - 1 item
- can French-style string beans, drained - 1 item
How to make grand ole opry salad:
Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes the salt, pepper, water, vinegar, Wesson oil and sugar. Stir; it may boil over. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: Salads, Corn, Green/yellow beans.
