Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 3/4 c
  • cold water - 1/2 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • envelope unflavored gelatin - 1 item
  • egg yolks, beaten - 2 item
  • cream, whipped - 1 c
  • egg whites, beaten - 2 item
  • graham crackers, rolled fine - 16 item
  • browned butter - 1/4 c
  • Mix together sugar, milk, egg yolks and pinch of salt

How to make graham cracker fluff:

Soak gelatin in water. Mix together sugar, milk, egg yolks and pinch of salt. Boil 1 minute and add soaked gelatin and vanilla. Set in a cool place to thicken but not harden. Then add egg whites and cream. Mix altogether with gelatin mixture.Crust:3 Tbsp. brown sugar1/4 c. browned butter16 graham crackers, rolled fine Line a dish with the crumbs (bottom and sides). Pour creamed mixture into dish and sprinkle with a little crumbs. An old time favorite.
