Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- coconut
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- whole graham crackers - 1 item
- Frosting recipe follows - 1 item
- finely crushed graham crackers - 1 c
- Melt margarine in saucepan
How to make graham cracker bars:
Line 9 x 12-inch casserole dish with whole graham crackers. Melt margarine in saucepan. Add and bring to a boil the egg, sugar, milk and vanilla. Remove from heat and add the next 3 ingredients. Spread mixture over graham crackers. Add another layer of whole graham crackers. Top with frosting. Refrigerate before cutting into small servings. Keeps well in refrigerator for weeks if tightly covered. Freezes well, also.Frosting:1 stick softened margarine2 c. confectioners sugar1 tsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. chopped pecans Beat with a mixer the first 3 ingredients until light and fluffy.
