Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- oleo - 3/4 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Cream oleo and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll in small balls, dip into sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. Makes about four dozen. If dough is too sticky to handle, add a little more flour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
