Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/3 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- molasses - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- ground ginger - 1 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- Add egg, molasses and water; mix
How to make ginger creams:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg, molasses and water; mix. Add remaining ingredients; mix until blended. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Heat oven to 400°.
