- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- thinly sliced tart apples such as Granny Smith apples - 4 c
How to make german apple cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat eggs until foamy, then add the oil and mix well. Add sugar, vanilla, spices, soda and flour, mixing after each addition. Stir in nuts and apples.
