German apple bread
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- salad oil - 1 c
- nuts, chopped optional - 1 c
- cooking apples, finely chopped - 3 c
How to make german apple bread:
Combine dry ingredients. Combine eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients with egg mixture and blend thoroughly. Add chopped apples and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pans and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back when depressed. After removing from oven, turn hot bread out of pan onto foil sprinkled with granulated sugar. While hot, wrap closely in the foil. When cool, store in the refrigerator until needed.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Apple.
