Georgia pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- melted margarine - 3 Tbsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 3 item
- dark corn syrup - 3/4 c
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- pecan halves or pieces - 1 c
How to make georgia pecan pie:
Combine eggs and corn syrup; mix well. Add sugar; mix thoroughly. Stir in salt and vanilla. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread pecans on bottom of pie shell. Stir melted margarine into syrup mixture, then pour over pecans. Be sure all pecans rise to the top.
