  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 item
  • butter or margarine - 1 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • boiling water
  • quick grits - 1 c
  • roll garlic cheese or 8 oz - 8 oz
  • crumbled corn flake crumbs - 1 item

How to make garlic grits casserole:

Cook boiling water, quick grits and salt by package directions. To cooked grits, add 1 stick margarine and garlic cheese. Beat until cheese and margarine are completely melted. Beat eggs in measuring cup and fill cup with milk. Add to grits and mix well.

Pour into a buttered 2-quart baking/serving dish. Dot generously with butter or margarine and sprinkle with crumbled corn flake crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve piping hot. Makes 8 servings. "Leftovers" may be sliced and fried to a golden brown for a real treat.
