Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 item
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- boiling water
- quick grits - 1 c
- roll garlic cheese or 8 oz - 8 oz
- crumbled corn flake crumbs - 1 item
How to make garlic grits casserole:
Cook boiling water, quick grits and salt by package directions. To cooked grits, add 1 stick margarine and garlic cheese. Beat until cheese and margarine are completely melted. Beat eggs in measuring cup and fill cup with milk. Add to grits and mix well.Pour into a buttered 2-quart baking/serving dish. Dot generously with butter or margarine and sprinkle with crumbled corn flake crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve piping hot. Makes 8 servings. "Leftovers" may be sliced and fried to a golden brown for a real treat.
