Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- water, boiling - 4 c
- roll garlic cheese - 1 item
- 1/2 sticks butter or margarine - 1 item
- grits quick cooking - 1 c
How to make garlic grits:
Cut up 1 stick butter or margarine. Cut up 1 roll garlic cheese. Add this to hot grits. When cool, add the eggs and milk. Pour in greased baking dish and cover with cornflake crumbs moistened with 1/2 stick butter or margarine. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Southern u.s..
