  • water - 1/4 c
  • cocoa
  • baking powder - 5 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • Crisco - 3/4 c

How to make funny cake:

Batter:1 1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. shortening1 tsp. vanilla1 c. milk2 c. flour5 tsp. baking powder Sauce (Topping):1/2 c. cocoa3/4 c. water1 c. sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla Line three 8-inch pans with crust. Pour the batter into pans about 1/2 full. Boil mixture for sauce together 3 minutes. Cool. Pour sauce (topping) over batter. Bake at 375° for 1/2 hour or until done. Cool.
