Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- flour plain - 3 4
- oil for frying - 1 item
How to make funnel cake:
Beat the eggs. Add the sugar and milk. Sift 1/2 of the flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to the egg mixture. Beat the batter with mixer until smooth, adding as much flour as needed. Batter should be thin enough to pour.Pour 1/4 cup through funnel into hot oil in a lattice fashion. Oil should be about 3/4-inch deep and at about 375°. Brown on 1 side; turn. Cooking time about 1 to 2 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
