  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 3/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item

How to make funnel cake:

Sift dry ingredients together and add egg and milk. Beat until smooth. Heat oil, at least 1 inch in frying pan. Using a large funnel, fill with small portion of mixture. Let mixture run through spout into hot oil, forming figures of 8 or your own design. Brown, turn, brown other side. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
