Ingredients/Components
- salt
- baking powder - 3/4 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour
- powdered sugar - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- milk more if batter is too thick - 2/3 c
How to make funnel cake:
Sift dry ingredients together in a separate bowl. Mix egg and milk together. Add dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Hold finger over hole in a funnel bottom and pour batter into the funnel. Remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into pan filled with 1-inch of hot oil (375°). Fry until golden brown, turning once. Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel.
