Fudgy brownies

Ingredients/Components

• unsweetened chocolate - 2 sq
• butter - 1/3 c
• flour - 2/3 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• coconut - 3/4 c

How to make fudgy brownies:

Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat. Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Beat eggs thoroughly. Gradually beat in sugar. Blend in chocolate mixture and vanilla. Add flour mixture; stir well. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares or bars. Makes 20.
