Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- flour
- butter - 1 c
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- quick cooking oats - 2 c
- 6 oz - 1 c
- sweetened condensed milk - 1 can
How to make fudge filled bars:
In a bowl, combine the oats, flour and brown sugar. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Stir in the pecans. Set aside 1 1/2 c. for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. In a saucepan, combine milk, chocolate chips and shortening; cook and stir over low heat until chips are melted. Spread over crust; sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture. Top with M&M's. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
