- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- shortening - 3 lb
- sifted flour - 3 c
- soft butter - 2 3
- egg yolks, beaten - 4 item
How to make drop doughnuts:
Preheat shortening in large pan. Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks, milk and vanilla. Blend in butter. Use teaspoon to put into preheated shortening. Cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Quick breads.
