Fruit salad dessert
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- grated orange peel - 1 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- bananas, sliced - 2 item
- can mandarin oranges, drained - 11 oz
- can pineapple chunks, drained reserve juice - 20 oz
- medium apples, cut up - 2 item
How to make fruit salad dessert:
Stir sugar and cornstarch together in saucepan. Blend in 3/4 cup pineapple juice, lemon juice, orange peel and orange juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. While hot, pour over fruit. Refrigerate, uncovered, several hours or overnight.
