Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- maraschino cherries - 1 item
- grated orange peel - 1 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- bananas, sliced - 2 item
- can pineapple chunks, drained - 1 oz
- mandarin oranges, drained - 11 oz
- juice from pineapple - 1 item
- medium apples, peeled and cut in chunks - 2 item
How to make fruit salad:
Stir cornstarch and sugar together in saucepan. Blend 3/4 cup pineapple juice, lemon juice, orange juice and orange peel. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. While hot, pour over fruit. Refrigerate uncovered several hours or overnight.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
