Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- whipped cream - 16 oz
- frozen strawberries - 1 pkg
- strawberry Jell-O - 1 pkg
How to make fruit dessert:
Crust: Combine crumbs, margarine and 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Spread in a 9 x 12-inch pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350°; cool.Cream Filling: Beat cream cheese with milk and then the powdered sugar. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over cooled crust.
Strawberry Topping: Cook water, 1/2 cup of sugar and cornstarch until thick. Remove from stove and stir in Jell-O until dissolved. Add frozen strawberries. When mix begins to jell, spread fruit mix over cream cheese filling. Refrigerate until set. Serves 12.
If fresh strawberries are used, add 1/2 cup granulated sugar when cooking topping mix.
