Fruit crumble
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- lemon juice - 1 item
- stick margarine or butter - 1/2 item
- pinch of ginger - 1 item
- or 6 cooking apples, peaches or other fruit - 5 item
How to make fruit crumble:
Filling: Slice fruit in a deep dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, 2/3 cup of sugar, cinnamon and ginger. Dot with butter.Crumb mix: Mix together the flour, 1 stick margarine and 3/4 cup of sugar to consistency of bread crumbs. Place over fruit mixture. Pat down with fork. Cook in a 375° oven for 30 to 35 minutes; serve with a pitcher of cream.
