Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 8 oz
- heavy cream - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple
- powdered sugar - 1/4 c
- can cherry pie filling - 21 oz
- graham cracker pie crust - 6 oz
How to make sunrise cherry pie:
Drain pineapple well, reserving 2 tablespoons of syrup. Combine soft cream cheese, vanilla and reserved syrup. Mix until well blended. Stir in 1/4 cup pineapple and 1/2 cup pie filling; set aside. Gradually add sugar to cream, beating until peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Pour into crust. Top with remaining pineapple and pie filling.
