- sugar - 2 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- plain flour - 2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- can fruit cocktail undrained - 1 oz
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add fruit cocktail and eggs; stir to blend. Pour in pan and sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 300° for about 1 hour. Cool for 10 minutes. Cut in squares.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
