Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- Milnot - 3/4 c
- 303 can fruit cocktail, including juice
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Topping:1 c. sugar3/4 c. Milnot1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla Mix flour, sugar and soda together. Stir in fruit cocktail, vanilla and eggs. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over top of cake. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately pour on the Topping. It will gradually absorb into the cake.For Topping: Heat together margarine, sugar and Milnot. Bring just to the boiling point, but do not boil. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour onto the cake as soon as it comes from the oven.
