Ingredients/Components
- flour - 4 c
- box currants - 1 item
- box seedless raisins - 1 item
- mixed fruit - 1 lb
- box muscat raisins - 1 item
- box candied cherries or bottled - 1 item
- walnuts - 1 lb
- butter - 1/2 lb
- eggs - 5 item
- sugar 1 c - 1/2 lb
- milk - 1/2 pt
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- each: cloves, allspice and cinnamon - 1 tsp
How to make fruit cake:
Line your cake pan with waxed paper and bake in a 325° oven for 2 hours. Let stand 24 hours. Remove from pan and then wrap in aluminum foil.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
