  • flour - 4 c
  • box currants - 1 item
  • box seedless raisins - 1 item
  • mixed fruit - 1 lb
  • box muscat raisins - 1 item
  • box candied cherries or bottled - 1 item
  • walnuts - 1 lb
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • eggs - 5 item
  • sugar 1 c - 1/2 lb
  • milk - 1/2 pt
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • each: cloves, allspice and cinnamon - 1 tsp

How to make fruit cake:

Line your cake pan with waxed paper and bake in a 325° oven for 2 hours. Let stand 24 hours. Remove from pan and then wrap in aluminum foil.
