  • sugar - 1 c
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • whipping cream, whipped - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • medium chopped red apples - 2 item

How to make frozen waldorf salad:

Drain pineapple; reserve juice. In a saucepan, combine juice with sugar, eggs and salt. Cook, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Cool. Stir in pineapple, celery, apples and pecans. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into 9-inch square pan. Cover and freeze. Let stand at room temperature for about 10 to 15 minutes. Cut into squares or serve on a lettuce leaf.
