Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 2 gal
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- seafood seasoning - 2 Tbsp
- small red potatoes - 15 item
- sliced lemons - 2 item
- ears corn, shucked - 15 item
- Polish sausage, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces - 3 lb
- raw, unpeeled shrimp - 4 lb
How to make frogmore stew:
Into 2 gallons of water, add sausage, potatoes, onions, lemons, seafood seasoning, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, then simmer for 45 minutes. Add butter and melt. Add corn and cook for 2 minutes.
