Fresh apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- ground allspice - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 2 c
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 2 Tbsp
- peeled, diced cooking apples - 3 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
How to make fresh apple cake:
Combine first 5 ingredients and set aside. Combine sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl; mix well. Stir in apples and pecans (batter will be very stiff). Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 10 minutes.
