Fresh apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 3 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- powdered sugar
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- apples, peeled and diced - 4 c
How to make fresh apple cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Core and dice apples. In a large bowl of mixer, beat together eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. In bowl, sift together flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Combine egg and flour mixtures. Stir in apples and nuts. Batter will be thick. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.Mix frosting ingredients (cream cheese, sugar, butter and pinch of salt). Frost cake while still warm. Serving Size: 12. Preparation Time: 0:40.
Note: Apples should be green (approximately 3 pounds).
