French onion pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- can French fried onion rings - 1 1/2
- deep dish frozen pie crust - 1 item
- shredded medium sharp cheese
How to make french onion pie:
Fill frozen crust with 1 1/2 cups fried onion rings; reserve remaining 1/2 cup for garnish. Beat eggs slightly; add milk, 1/2 cup cheese, salt and cayenne. Pour over onions in pie shell. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutesRecipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Onions.
