Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter, softened - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- blueberries fresh or frozen - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
How to make streusel blueberry buckle:
Streusel Topping:1/2 c. sugar1/3 c. flour1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 tsp. nutmeg1/4 c. butter, softened Heat oven to 375°. In large mixer bowl, combine all Blueberry Buckle ingredients, except blueberries. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes). By hand fold blueberries into batter. Spread into greased and floured 9-inch square baking pan.In small bowl, stir together all Streusel ingredients, except butter. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
