Freezer spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- chopped fresh parsley - 1/2 c
- large onions, chopped - 4 item
- large carrots, pared and shredded - 4 item
- large tomatoes, pitted and chopped in chunks - 20 item
How to make freezer spaghetti sauce:
Bring slowly to boil, stirring often. Lower heat; simmer 30 minutes or until mixture thickens. Cool slightly. Measure 3 cups at a time into a blender; whip 1 minute at high speed. Pour into freezer container, leaving 1 inch on top. Yields 16 cups.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Pasta.
