Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cider vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- canning salt - 2 Tbsp
- sliced cucumbers, 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick - 2 qt
How to make freezer pickles:
Sprinkle salt on cucumbers and onion and let stand for 2 hours. Drain pickles. Heat sugar, vinegar and celery seed until sugar melts. Let set for 1/2 hour, stirring every 5 minutes. Put into containers and freeze.Recipe categories: American, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
