Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- or more sliced onions - 1 item
- unpeeled sliced cucumbers - 2 qt
- Syrup:3 c
How to make freezer pickles:
Mix together and let stand for 2 hours.Syrup:3 c. sugar1 c. vinegar Boil just until sugar is dissolved; let cool. It will be thick. Make this syrup while cucumbers stand. Drain cucumbers and squeeze out as much juice as possible. Divide into freezer carton and pour syrup over each. Freeze.Celery seed may be added.
