Freezer meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 2 tsp
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- snipped parsley - 1/4 c
- dried thyme, crushed - 1 tsp
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1 c
- ground beef - 3 lb
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
How to make freezer meatballs:
Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. Add ground beef. Mix well. Shape into 60 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs. Place on 2 (15 x 10 x 1-inch) baking pans. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Cool. Wrap in three 20 meatball packages. Freeze up to 6 months.
