Ingredients/Components

  • milk
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • beaten eggs - 4 item
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • snipped parsley - 1/4 c
  • dried thyme, crushed - 1 tsp
  • fine dry bread crumbs - 1 c
  • ground beef - 3 lb
  • finely chopped onion - 1/2 c

How to make freezer meatballs:

Preheat oven to 350°. In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. Add ground beef. Mix well. Shape into 60 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs. Place on 2 (15 x 10 x 1-inch) baking pans. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Cool. Wrap in three 20 meatball packages. Freeze up to 6 months. Serves 12.
