Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder
- melted shortening - 2 Tbsp
How to make fluffy dumplings:
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in milk and melted shortening to make a soft dough. Drop dumplings by spoonfuls into gently boiling broth. Cover lightly and steam, without lifting cover for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Egg, Condiments, etc., Garnishes.
