Ingredients/Components
- Salt - 2/3 tsp
- Flour
- Milk - 2/3 c
- Baking Powder - 4 tsp
- Egg - 1 item
- melted Shortening or Oil - 1 tbsp
How to make fluffy dumplings:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder into mixture of beaten egg, shortening and milk. Mix well and drop by teaspoonfuls into boiling broth (4 c. or more). Cover and cook gently for 8 to 10 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Egg, Condiments, etc., Garnishes.
