Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 4 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- flour, melted - 2 c
How to make flap jacks:
Beat egg whites and yolks separately. Then beat together egg yolks, sugar, salt, milk, butter, flour and baking powder. Add whites last. Pour out individual flap jacks on a hot griddle. Serve with melted butter and hot maple syrup which has been boiled until thick. Top with whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, < 15 mins, Time to make.
