Filled cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• milk
• salt - 2 tsp
• flour - 8 c
• baking powder - 8 tsp
• shortening - 1 lb
• filling - 1 item

How to make filled cookies:

Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla. Mix flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk. Keep dough soft; roll out and mix with flour. Use cutter and lift with egg turner after cutting circles. Put on cookie sheet and put 1 heaping teaspoon of filling in center; top with cut out circle. Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.
