- salt - 2 Tbsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
- favas - 2 lb
- paprika and allspice to taste - 1 item
How to make favas:
Soak favas overnight. Add salt and boil until done (3 hours). In a separate pan, slice onions into butter and cook until done. Add sauce and 1 can of water. Add spices as desired. Combine both pans and cook together for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Beans, Portuguese.
