Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • large marshmallows - 12 item
  • few grains of salt - 1 item
  • evaporated skimmed milk - 2/3 c

How to make fast fudge:

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add chocolate morsels to marshmallow mixture, stirring until melted. Add nuts and vanilla, stirring well. Spread evenly in buttered 8-inch square pan. Cut into squares when cool. Yields approximately 5 dozen squares.
