Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- baking soda - 5 tsp
- salad oil - 1 c
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- box Raisin Bran flakes 7 1/2 c - 15 oz
How to make ever ready muffins:
Mix bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, oil and buttermilk; mix well. Store in covered container in refrigerator and use as desired. Keeps in refrigerator up to 6 weeks. Bake a few at a time if needed. Fill muffin tins (greased or lined with paper cups) 2/3 full. Bake in a preheated oven at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.Note: If desired, 3/4 cup more raisins may be added. Freezes well after baking. Makes 3 1/2 dozen regular size muffins.
